Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Cadence — the time and leave tracking service made by Pxlenz, available as an iOS app and at www.cadencetimeandleavetracker.com. By creating an account or using Cadence, you agree to them.
1. The service
Cadence lets teams track working time, request and approve leave, view team availability, and optionally connect external calendars. Features may change as the product evolves; we may add, modify, or retire functionality.
2. Accounts
You need an account to use Cadence, created with Apple, Google, or a work email and password. Keep your credentials secure — you're responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 16 and using Cadence for workplace purposes.
3. Workspaces
Cadence organizes teams into workspaces. The person who creates a workspace becomes its administrator and controls its membership, roles, policies, and records. Workspace records — such as leave requests, approvals, and time entries — belong to the workspace and remain under its administrators' control, including after a member leaves. If you join your employer's workspace, your employer's own policies also apply to how they use those records.
4. Acceptable use
- Don't attempt to access data or workspaces you're not authorized to see.
- Don't interfere with, probe, or disrupt the service or its security measures.
- Don't use Cadence to violate the law or others' rights, or to submit knowingly false records.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
5. Pricing and trials
Cadence is currently offered with a free trial. When paid plans launch, pricing will be shown at the point of purchase, and continued use of paid features will require an active subscription. We'll give reasonable notice before any trial converts to a paid requirement.
6. Third-party services
Cadence integrates with services such as Apple, Google, and Microsoft for sign-in and calendars. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Our handling of data is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.
7. Disclaimers
Cadence is provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to keep it accurate and reliable, but we don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and Cadence is not a system of record for legal or payroll compliance — verify official records with your employer. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pxlenz will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of Cadence. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or US $50.
9. Termination
You may stop using Cadence and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or end the service, or your access to it, for violation of these terms or where required to protect the service and its users, with notice where practicable.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
11. Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date; continued use after a change means you accept it.
